Rolex service

Hi
New to the forum. I need my Submariner model: 16613 serviced. Any recommendations on sources here that folks trust? Edited. The case has a scratch which I hope can be fixed.
Thanks

Joe

Rolex Watch Service Center: Dallas, TX.

They will remove the scratch, service the movement, and issue a new two year warranty certificate that will help you in selling it afterwards since Rolex did the service. It also removes all doubt of authentcity of your watch.

If your watch is running OK, it's often better to let the new owner decide on when and how he wants it serviced. It can be difficult to recoup your service cost when selling.

Like others mentioned, service by RSC is a great way to authenticate the watch you are planning to sell.

Thanks everyone,
I suspect we are talking about $400 to $600 for the service?

That would be within range for sure, but likely north of the lower figure.

Hello
THank for the help,
I assume this is the correct center:

rolex
2651 N Harwood St, Dallas, Texas 75201
(214) 871-0500 ‎

But whenever I look for a RSC on their website it refers me to one NYC.

Don't mean to be a major pain in the A**, but I can't find any reference to the Dallas RSC and information on where to send it, how to send it, how to pack it, what service to use to send it and insurance questions. Is there a link to this specific RSC?
Thanks

Bob Ridley does stellar work and is highly recommended. However, I'd personally would have the service done by Rolex. If it were vintage, Bob is the man.

Dalton Toledo in LA does incredible case work, he has serviced several of my watches. Both he and Bob are members of the forum.

This question is akin to asking "if my car runs fine, does it need an oil change?"....some like to run oil in their vehicle until it smokes or breaks down, others change the oil every 5-7500 (or MFG recommendations). Same with Rolex owners....some service their watch every 5 years, while some wait until it stops running altogether.

It's advised to service your watch 5-8 years from when it was purchased new, and every 5 years thereafter.....

In my opinion, NO.

However, you are in Brooklyn so it would be best for you to walk into directly the NY RSC since it is close to you.

Helpful info on sending a watch for service. The only part that is different now, is that you have to send in your original warranty card if it's warranty work. Not sure about a 5 year service though.

I have had my Rolex watches serviced at the NY RSC and have never had a problem. I would not hesitate to have them service my watch.
