Daytona order up in flames!
Just got a call from my local AD. They have been a dealer for over 30 years. They received a letter saying, thanks for playing, your cancelled. Pretty sucky for them, and me. Had a SS Daytona on order with them.

I see you are in NY; what AD was given the boot? Is it a NYC-Metro or Upstate New York location?

Hopefully it is not Morre Lyons across the river. They are great people. I bought my SS Daytona from them last year.

Nothing new has been going on for a while now. Hate to say it but Rolex is screwing up taking out the ADs that have been there for them all these years. Goes to show you loyality means nothing to them, very sad indeed.

You'll find another. My favorite brands all seem to be moving closer to the boutique model.

Bummer. Sorry to hear that. Plenty of good sources to find your Daytona. Good luck with the hunt!

That's unfortunate indeed, good luck on trying to find a Daytona elsewhere.

I'm.afraid that will be the fate of most AD's out there...the days of discounts and personal.relationship is history....while a rolex boutique experience will be outstanding, we will all pay the required premium for the privilege....welcome to the new order....it's the rolex way or the highway...

We realize this, but there has not been much mention of the NYC Metro or NY locations, which is why we are interested in which dealer the OP dealt with.
Oh well. It must have been an upstate location, in which case, it is not surprising (it would be hard to believe any Long Island Locations would close) |
