Dial Change ?
I've just picked up an Avenger Seawolf titanium for a song. It needs a full overhaul and I'm wondering if they could do a dial/hand change. It has a dark blue dial but I like the yellow dial. Does anyone know if they will do it and the approximate cost ?

I talked to B.U.S.A. this morning. I am sending in my Black Dial Superocean for the 5 year service and wanted to have them brush the finish and possibly change to the Coral dial. They said they would do the dial change but would not change the polished finish. They would not quote the cost over the phone. They said they needed to asses the watch and then quote a price. I hope this helps.

Thanks GMK. I've sent it for a overhaul and asked for a price on a dial change. I'll post the answer when I receive it. I must say that the quoted 14 week turnaround here in the UK seems a little slow.

Nathan: I sent in my Superocean and my wife's watch to B.U.S.A. this morning. They should have it on Fri and have a quote for me 2 days later. I have the black dial but always liked the Coral dial. I keep going back and forth. I guess I have a week or so to make the decision to change to the Coral dial.

The answer is: £490.50 GBP for a dial change from yellow to blue ! A bit too pricey for me. I might stick it up in the FS section when it comes back.

Wow, close to 500 quid for a dial. Always liked the earlier TI Seawolf, I'll keep any eye out for it in 14 weeks when it returns from service Nathan. Depending on how the watch funds are at the time. Cheers Jules
