Man was that too long to read. It makes me question a few emails I sent recently. Wonder if they read it all the way. I wouldn't have, hope they read it all. If not I am going to have to give them the axe. LOL

Idk what you prob is...too long to read!

I think that sometimes we're too quick to label a person a troll on this forum. Just because the OP'er didn't use the phrasing or terminology we expect to see here, I think he should be treated with respect until we know for sure that his intentions are less than honorable. I don't believe a troll would take the time to write such a lengthly first post if his questions weren't genuine.

Just my

Guess you will have to copy and paste, until I can figure out how to use the message board.

Sorry!
For a watch that has not been opened or serviced in 24 years, why does it have aftermarket hands?

What a story! It grows more bizarre and diabolical with every post of the OP, who seems to take a sadistic pleasure in twisting the proverbial dagger into the heart of every WIS who reads this thread.

It's a gothic watch tale worthy of an EA Poe or Anne Rice.

Amusing, having trouble buying it all though. OP has not answered anyones questions or suggestions directly. If it was for real it would be quicker just leaving it at an AD and getting a quote rather than posting derogatory comments on Rolex quality whilst saying he hadn't looked after it from day one. These sorts of threads are only interesting if the dialog goes both ways. OP if you are serious answer some of the questions the guys have asked you and you might get some useful information.

Mine was in worse shape than this when I bought it, had previously never been serviced since new and completely destroyed (combination of military use, motorsport/mechanic use and being half eaten by a large dog).

Rebuild price was a bit over $3,000 including parts and labor and months of waiting but I now love it to bits.
