Is this Tudor Watch Real?
Hi,
I just joined this forum and purchased a used Tudor watch from ebay and would like your opinion to see if this watch is real or fake. I feel bad that my first post is like this. I should have came to this site first before purchasing a watch from ebay! Here is the link from ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200702734340...84.m1423.l2649 I will bring this watch to a watchmaker to verify as well. Just want an opinion from fellow rolex owners. Thanks. |

Welcome to TRF, others with considerably more knowledge will be here shortly as they know which dial, hands and bracelet should be on that watch. The 18k stamp seems weird....
I like the looks of it though |

The bracelet seems wrong........white gold, I do't think so. The case back engraving doesn't look right either.
Not getting a good feeling. dP

I may be wrong, but isn't the Tudor logo supposed to be on the crown rather then the Rolex logo?

Other than the bracelet, the rest looks mostly ok. I'd still pass though, it's at the very least a frankenwatch.

I did some homework online and it seems like the serial and model number looks ok.
I am guessing right now is that the watch is real, but the bracelet is aftermarket. Any ideas? |

Bracelet is definitely no bueno! All else looks marginally "ok", however, you need to get that inspected by a knowledgeable watchmaker when you get it. Good luck and keep us posted.
