PAM 127 - 1950 price?
How much would you pay for a PAM 127 - 1950? I've seen one for sale for $21.5k which seems to be about retail, but I am pretty new to Panerai. Seems a bit high for a seemingly extremely simple piece, but perhaps I'm just a noob.
I do really, really like the watch. |

They have taken a hit lately with the intro of the 372, upcoming 422 and destro 8 day 368.
I'm not in the market for one, but the prices are sliding from where they once were. I recall seeing one for sale overseas on Timezone in the 18's.

Yeah - I concur with Mik - that they've gone down with the intro of many new alternatives - particularly the 372.
Its a very nice piece and whilst expensive might be somewhat of a collectable - even more than it has been.

I don't think they have declined as much as you boys are letting on.
You still see them regularly listed for $20k. That said, the actual sale prices would be closer to $19k. They have not dropped like some expected simply because of the 372's release. |

The simpler the better for Panerai, 127 or otherwise. You'll likely find that the no-fuss pieces are what command higher prices.

Its going down in price quite a bit due to more available non limited production selections available..

Hovering around upper $18k to mid $19k..
its still a bit of a markup... for almost the same..take a closer look at the 372... but with all that...the Fiddy will always be the Fiddy...

If you really want that big dome and 47mm Lum, consider the 368. It is a lefty, but has in-house 8 day movement and used I've seen one listed for 15,500.
