Lume on hands of TT Sub

Hello all,
Had a quick question for any of you with a 16613.
I have a Z series, Serti dial 16613 and the lume on the hands doesn't glow
any more. The pearl is fine, but the hands barley show up in the dark after
sitting in the sun(on a window sill) for a couple of hours.
Is it normal for them to loose their glow after only a few years?
Thanks for any info,
Jack

Well Rolex lume has never been the best, but the hands on the subs are quite thin to some watches. Therefore the lume area is quite small the more lume surface area the brighter the total lume. But if charged with a very strong light they should still glow in a very dark room.
