I bought them all North Face jackets. I wanted to get them something that was different from the usual gifts.
There is another thread with some good ideas in it, I'll see if I can find it for ya.

Some of the things I've gotten as a groomsman:
- Leather box embossed with our initials for cufflinks and collar stays
- Flask with our initials engraved on it
- Swiss army knife with my initials engraved
- Mont blanc pen

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials!

I say a nice pen.

Rollerball - unless you know they can handle the hassle of a fountain pen.

No ballpoint, please.

Mont Blanc is nice. Parker's and ST Dupont are my preference personally.

Other than that, how about a nice wooden men's valet box with their names or initials engraved?

I went the pen route. A friend of mine gave us engraved money clips with a small knife and nail file. I still carry it after almost 30 years.

I got all of my groomsmen stock certificates framed and matted with a plaque. Each groomsmen's stock had a special meaning for example, my cousin and I live far apart and became very closing chatting online, so I got him a microsoft stock certificate with a engraved plaque. One of my closest friends and I became friends by meeting on our college baseball team, so I got him a rawlings stock certificate..etc.etc. You get the point.

i have received a nice crystal beer stein, engraved. after looking at that last post, i guess stock in budweiser (et cet) would have been appropriate.
