Icon5 The Hulk...what are the differences in the green Submariners?

Hi,
There are many types of green Submariners, some with black and green, some all green, anywhere from $7,100 to $10,500. I really don't know what I should be looking for. Can someone explain the differences to me and suggest a reasonable price range that I should be expecting to pay? I am shopping for my husband, he says he wants "The Hulk."
Thank you very much.
Rachel

P.S. Yes, I did post 2 days ago looking for suggestions for an introductory Rolex under $2,000 for a Valentine's Day present. My husband said he'd rather have nothing, he'd rather just wait for The Hulk. Glad I asked!

The Hulk or 116610 SubLV current listed MSRP is $8550.

Green Ceramic insert
Green Dial
Larger watch case
Improved bracelet clasp.

The 16610 SubLV last listed MSRP $6400 is a discontinued model.

Green Aluminum insert which can be swapped out easily with a black insert if purchased
Black dial

If your looking for a 16610 SubLv more than likely you will have to get it pre-owned as they no longer make this model. It can be found for anywhere from 5400 on up depending on condition and year. Some first year models sell for a premium based on collector like ability.

Rachel, there is only one version of the Hulk. As stated it is a Submariner and has a green bezel insert and a green dial. You may find one used but more than likely you will have to buy it new. AD's are authorized dealers meaning jewelry stores who carry Rolex watches. Grey dealers are the ones on the Internet or on a Forum like this one and buy their watches from AD's or private individuals but can sell the watches cheaper. This Forum has a For Sales sub section where you can find watches for sale and this is where the grey dealers are located. Being a newer model( The Hulk-116610LV, green dial and green bezel insert combination) discounts will be hard to get so you might be able to get 10% off from a retail store. But don't be surprised if they do not budge off of the suggested retail price. You can also save money from an AD by buying the watch and having it shipped out of state...this way you will save the sales tax. Maybe you have a friend or relative you can have the watch shipped to. Good luck and I trust everything will work out for you and your husband!!!
