Tudor Sub Help...need the experts
Hey Guys. I recently ran across this sub and really don't know what to look for when buying Tudor. I know they are a common fake and many times or not they are not 100% original and fraken watches. The seller has supplied me with these photos but i have requested that he send me close ups so i can have them looked at by professionals (didn't tell him about the forum...you guys are my professionals

Hard to tell much from those pics but nothing negative jumps out yet. Make sure to get pics of the reference and serial #'s.

Yes, need serial number; looks like 79090, maybe
![]() I just picked one up last weekend (79090, blue) at an estate sale; it needed a service, no box or papers, for $1,400, plus 18% buyers premium. The service will be around $500 so i'll have about $2,150 in it. I'm just guessing for yours: $2,500-$2,750, maybe more depending who did the service... Blue is the bomb ![]() |

just ask him if the crown has the 3 dots. if it does, then its a full sizer. if the crown has an underline - its the midsize 75190. the midsize is an amazing wtach by the way.

Looks like a mid-size but pictures can be deceiving.

Turned out to be a mid-size. Anybody have one? Pictures of it on? Would it look funny on a man? I currently wear a DJ and love the size but for a sports model 35mm seams SMALL. Finally what's a good price for one of these?
Thanks for all the help everyone! |

i have a 75090. its a very nice watch. it is nearly identical in size to a DJ's case. i dunno the price, but you have here is an oyster band, which is good. i think that 1250-1400 is fair.
i think the endlinks are 18mm oddball sized. finding an oyster one is a good thing. plus the blue dial. nice watch the 'mini-sub' is the tiny one that i would avoid. |

I've seen decent midsize subs go typically in the 1200-1600 range.
The regular Tudor/Rolex sub is a little small at 40mm on a 8.5" wrist, but wears real well. I could not think of going smaller, personally, with larger wrists.

Thse are nice subs, I had a blue minty one which I traded. The narrow width crown indicates its a mid sized 36 mm.

Well, we got that figured out
![]() ![]() I would wait for a 40mm, just be patient ![]() Mine is a 79090, look for one of those and I'll post some pic when watch is done, should be just a few weeks ![]() In the future get shots of the bracelet showing how much stretch is in it, one reason I picked mine up is the bracelet was very nice ![]() |

He wanted $1995 which I thought for a full size was a steal with box and papers. I told him I was no longer interested due to the size. If anyone is interested PM me and I can give you his info. As the AZGUY said I will be waiting for a full size. Thanks for the help everyone! It would be impossible to get this much information in just a day.

yeah, sadly the days of the 1200 subs are gone. even for this model. Minis seem to get 900. these get about 1400+ and the full sized... i think that modern 79090s start at like 2300.
sad. these used to be 500 bucks! |
