My wife and I have become friends with a local chef. Sometimes on either Weds or Friday I go over and help them pick wines for the restaurant.
We were there yesterday and he gave us some small tastes of a new menu he is developing.

First is a raw fish preparation



Eggplant.



Pasta with roasted lamb.



Sweetbreads



Dessert



I think the new menu is going to be a hit. Now to pick the perfect wines to pair......

made myself a rib eye with spinach and brown rice. went with the meat thing since today is fish day (lent). should've took a pic of my steak...i'm getting hungry.
