I don't see the point of going back to an older version of OSX. In an few months the next update will be available, its called Mountain Lion. http://www.macrumors.com/2012/02/16/...res-and-notes/

It's surprising to me that they're already making commercials for 10.8 Mountain Lion when we're only at 10.7.3 Lion and the next OSX is probably a year or more away.

To me the best feature of Lion is having iCloud because my Mac, iPad and iPhone automatically sinc with each other.

Maybe 60 days.

OS X updates slowed down during the ramp up of iOS, and will now be at a slightly quicker pace.

Love Lion, huge step forward in performance and a further step forward in stability, although it was already best in class.

And the features are just icing on the cake.

My most coveted Mountain Lion feature... FINALLY, Airplay for Mac! HD TV on my office wall is now my wireless display anytime I want.

The next version of OS X will be released in June/July . The AirPlay function for the mac is something that I am really looking forward to. I already use AirPlay on my iPhone and it works great.

its okay... not blown away with it. more secure. more features. but Snow Leopard still gets my vote on stability on new programs and VMs

I have had no problems with Lion. I don't see any upside with downgrading.

I do have a friend who relied upon Quicken 2007 for Mac. Lion broke Quicken and so she can not access her information. Intuit doesn't have a newer version available, but has promised a patch in the near future. Sounds like quite a mess.

Hi Chad, I wonder what is bothering you to make you consider revert? Features, performance?

In my case, I notice a slight drop in performance on my duo core iMac, and impossible to run on an old MBA with 2Gb. On the other hand, Lion roars on the new MBA. So if you are using older hardware, I can understand why you want to go back.

In terms of usability there is no real surprise in Lion. iCloud over the air sync alone worths every penny. But I do prefer old Exposes lot more than Mission Control. The touch track gesture is top notch eating the entire laptop market.

From following the Mac forums, performance seems to take a hit with Lion compared to Snow Leopard. Hopefully Mountain Lion will fix that. I'm sticking to Snow Leopard for now.

Been using Lion since it's release. Couple small quirks (not enough to mention in depth, AHEM "re-open windows when logging in, which I have permanently disabled). I'll be sticking with it.

I am real happy with Lion, I have not seen any slow down like some, but I am running it on MAC's with maxed out memory and top end processors. The reopen think was BS until I disabled it.

if you are having trouble switching applications with 8gb ram, you have a hardware problem.
