CP Company x Jaeger-LeCoultre Watch Viewer Jacket

The Mille Miglia (One Thousand Miles) is an open road endurance race that weaves its way through some of the most beautiful and fastest roads throughout Italy. Since it first started back in 1927, the race has hosted many of the world’s best road cars, many of which were roadsters in its earliest days. To outfit the drivers in apparel that will protect them from the elements without slowing them down, the Goggle Jacket was born. The design was first reworked in the ’80′s as part of C.P Company‘s sponsorship of the race and interest in the jacket hasn’t waned since. Today we see C.P. Company and master watchmakers Jaeger-LeCoultre‘s take on the piece. The overall structure and balance of the Goggle Jacket remains tuned to fit the human form in a driving position, including a wide base, the build-in goggles, and the positioning of its seams and pockets. The rectangular watchviewer placed on the left wrist is built to fit the specially commissioned watch offered by Jaeger-LeCoultre to mark the occasion while the plaid cotton lining and nylon construction keep you warm and dry. Check out additional shots at thie one-of-a-kind jacket after the jump before picking one up from end clothing online or at their store in England.

Have numerous incarnations of this jacket and i cannot figure out why it has taken so long for something like this to be done by the company, the previous owners CEO is a HUGE watch fan and for him to miss out on a team up with a well respected watch brand is flabbergasting to me. Also the official/unofficial name for this jacket was/is The Mille Migila but the owners of the Mille Miglia race and brand asked the then owners of C.P. to cease and desist using that name for the jacket around 08 iirc. Better pics below:

Although i get the reasoning behind the project, C.P. make a watchviewer jacket that is fully reversable, Jaeger are celebrating the Reverso's 80th hence a 'great coming together' the watch is in my opinion far,far to dressy for the jacket......still i'm contemplating.
