Clasp issues

I just noticed in the last few days that my clasp has stiffened up quite a bit. It is getting fairly hard to bend at one hinge point. I have attached a couple of photos showing which hinge point and how stiff it actually is. I am able to hold it by the clasp and the weight of the bracelet and clasp won't even fold the hinge at this point.

Have your AD pull it apart and clean it in the ultrasonic. You probably have some goop in there.

Have you tried cleaning it with warm water and any sort of cleaning solution? Would only make sense to me that there is something stuck such as gunk or what not, since it was fine before?

Tried washing. Just seems to be awfully tight for it to just be your average skin oils etc.

The other possibility is that the retaining pin somehow got bent. Either way, I'd recommend sending it in.

Is there anything wedged in between the forked end of the hinge and the clasp? Is the hinge stiff throughout the entire range of motion or does it move freely at some point in travel?

The only thing I can think of is that the pin is broken internally (inside clasp portion) causing it to hang up/add tension.
