Watch loosing too much time

Last year I had my Sub serviced by a local watchmaker that I've delt with before. The watch was bought in because the stem poped out and after 12 years it needed a service. I had it serviced just about a year ago, and I recently noticed when wear the watch daily I loose 10-15 seconds a day. If I pre wind the watch in the begining of the day, its slow by about 10 seconds, if I just wear the watch without any manual winding, it slows down 15 seconds. I"m going to bring it in and see if it could be re-timed, any idea what the fee should be since I'm just out of the one year range?

If its losing the same amount of time a day a regulation is not an issue. If it is not losing the same amount of time each day there could be a bigger issue.

Too many to list, it would be pure speculation...you would need to get a look at the movement itself.

For instance, I had a friend complaining his watch would lose time throughout the day... similar to your problem. A screw fell out of the rotor block (I'm pointing to the hole where it came out), intermittently jamming the wheel (not good).

If it just needs to be regulated, you should expect to pay around $50. I would check with your watchmaker to find out what the warranty on the service is. Your watchmaker should be able to fix the issue.
