under 3.5K daily wear

Any idea , looking for 3.5K max daily wear watch, no Rolex watch.
Thinking pre owned (so the price might be 25% less from MSRP) , bracelet, and 44MM max diameter.

Thank you

Look for an IWC Aquatimer!
I have a Ti chrono from the last model they made
and I LOVE it! It is a TANK and reliable as can be.
Its a day date chrono diver watch... If it had a GMT
hand it would be the ultimate watch.
I have the Ti bracelet, 2 velcro IWC dive straps and the
IWC Rubber Strap... I highly suggest anyone consider
one who needs a rock solid user.

The Girard Perregaux chrono's can be had for $2,000-$3,000, pre-owned. GP also has the diver that probably fits your budget and very high quality.

Another brand that has some "under the radar" watches is ML in their Masterpiece line.

My 0.02, if you're looking for a daily wear bracelet...IWC's are not known to be themost comfortable bracelets for most wrists. I'd try one on for a long while before pulling the trigger and calling it your daily beater

Hard to beat a Speedmaster Pro. You can probably get one new for $3500 if you get the right dealer.

Ball, Sinn, Tutima has some nice cost-friendly variations.
The Sinn tegimented bracelet is near scratch resistant as a daily wearer.

For that price, Speedmaster Pro is a great choice.
And, you can't Ball Watch for the amount of money you are willing to pay!

I'd go for Ball. Some great watches for that price.

Surprising...
Many feel the Aquatimer bracelet is one of the most comfortable out there.
I find it wears FAR better than the ROO or VC Overseas I had as well as MANY other brands. Especially the Ti bracelet and its great since they use the easy change strap/band system like Panerai

An IWC Aquatimer 3536 in titanium or ss would be a cool choice as well. Not easy to find at $3,500 but you can if you look around.

IMO, an IWC or Omega would be sturdy, luxury, tool watches. I'd look at the Omega Speedmaster for it's prestige and price, but if you are not interested in a chrono, a SMP would be a good option. IWCs would be a good alternative, less mainstream, but recognized by those who know watches.

IMO, Panerai is too big and blingy for me. Lots of those in SoCal like it for that reason. alone.

I guess everyone's different, but I've had more people complain about IWC's purchased from me than any other brand. The angle at which the bracelet comes off the lugs makes it a little squirrely for some wrist sizes. I don't disagree with your ROO and VC analysis, but I think a Rolex/Omega/Breitling bracelet is a good 10x more comfortable than IWC.
