Not a good sign...

I have been bragging about how good my 1991 Datejust looks and works since I got it back from the Dallas RCS Monday. But this morning it still read the 7th as the date. I manually moved it to the 8th, I sure hope this is just a one time deal.

Just make sure you set the date buy advancing the time not the date hacking. That's the only way you know if it's set to AM or PM.

If you had waited till noon you could have determined if your date wheel had been mistakenly set to the wrong 12hr period which is what I assume the problem was.

That was it and now I feel very, very stupid! I guess I had just not looked at the date the past two mornings or I would have noticed it then.

Did this when I first got my DSSD. I was cursing up a storm for 2 days, then I finally figured it out, haha!

There is an old adage about problems sometimes going away by themselves in abaout the same time, or less, than it takes for us to solves them through our own efforts.
