Looks like people are still spreading AP service rumors in the "Rolex owners are they looked down upon" thread. Some guy is saying how APs aren't held to a high standard ect. Some rumors and complete BS just cracks me up. Sorry for the hijack Ken. Let us know when you get it back.

AP not held to a high standard is plain silly. They are considered one of the top 3 watch houses along with Patek and VC.

I agree and the more I research the more I realize what an amazing company AP is. I knew the name before but didnt know much about them. I'm more impressed every day.

Absolutely!! One thing is for sure. The two APs I have are amongst my favorite watches to wear. They feel incredible on the wrist.

Hey Ken, is their service fee a standard number, plus any necessary parts? I'm very curious (and scared) to know the cost of service for my perpetual calendar. I was thinking of calling AP, but didn't know if they would tell me or just need me to send in THEN give the estimate.

Should be pretty fixed. Sure the currency can move the amount some but this should give you a good hint.

I left my 15300 for service in Sweden today and got quoted pretty spot on to this price list.

My RB2 is an F series like all other RB2 Ti's made in 2007. I have heard a lot of myths and rumbling around how crazy service costs are so hope this puts an end to that. I also ordered brand new RB2 Ti strap for $374 dollars- again not too bad for that strap IMHO.

Good to know thanks for sharing.

I like how they post their service costs on the web.

Mike, It all depends on how many parts that need to be replaced, Other then that the price is very accurate.
