Calling All Oysterquartz Experts
I just received an Oysterquartz I purchased that was listed with original box and papers. Everything appears good. The watch is flawless, and the serial number on the watch matches up to the card. Also, the original purchase date seems to match from the era of the watch. This is a K serial number, so final year of production.
One thing that doesn't seem to match though is one of the booklets. It is listed as "Oyster Perpetual Date". Other Oysterquartz watches I have seen actually came with an Oysterquartz booklet. Anyone had a similar experience? Do you think Rolex might have just put this booklet in instead? Any comments you have would be very welcome. I included a photo for reference. |

Booklets not infrquently got jumbled at the dealer when new. I wouldn't infer anything from it coming with the wrong booklet.
