Paint on Explorer II GMT dial
Just had my Explorer II serviced. The technician got carried away on polishing the case and a lot of the black paint on the GMT dial numbers is gone. Does anyone know what kind of paint this is and how to repaint?
Thanks |

You can either use a fine point permanent marker or flat black automotive paint.

Its black enamel paint. DO NOT USE A SHARPIE lol it will just look dark purple. But yes the polisher should be responsible for his/her mistake. If a friend did it for free then cheers!
edit: search for: Rust-Oleum 7777730 1/2-Pint 8-Ounce Protective Enamel, Satin Black Not sure what you mean by the "GMT dial numbers" though? but that will work for the explorer II black 24hr marker bezel.
