I'd hold on to the 16710 and flip the 116710, which you'll be able to replace at some point in the future. No such guarantees regarding the 16710. The 116710 is a heck of a watch, but in a decision between the three (including the Daytona) I 'd say that the 116710 is expendable, at least for now.

You would be able to re-aquire the 116710 NEW. Not so with the 16710.

I would definately sell the NEW GMT II since you would get more money for it than for the old GMT, and besides that you can always buy the new GMT II again later, but not the old GMT II.

I didn't vote, but I think the 116710 is a better watch in every aspect, while the 16710 is maybe more sentimental to you...

Keep the 116710. What happens when Rolex desides they have celebrated their anniversary enough and goes back to a red 24 hr hand and red writing. The green versions will be like the red subs or yesteryear. There were thousands and thousands of the 16710's made and replacing it would be easy.
