First off, welcome to TRF...

It can be very easy to post a picture.
  1. Get the pic on your laptop (and don't forget where you put it).
  2. Start a new post and type your message.
  3. Then click the "paperclip" icon in the message menu bar.
  4. A new pop-up window will open.
  5. Use the "Upload File from your Computer" option
  6. Click the "Browse..." button and select the pic stored on your computer.
  7. After you see the selected pic file listed, click the "Upload" button next to the last "Browse..." line.
  8. If the file is too large you will get a message (you may need to use lower resolution).
  9. Once file is uploaded, click "Close this window" in upper left corner of pop-up.
  10. Go back to message and click "Submit Reply"
If you want to preview how the picture will look, use the "Preview Post" button before submitting the reply.

There are 3 other ways to include pictures...
  • Upload the pic to your favorite media sharing site and just paste the URL into your message (the pic won't show but people can click the link to see it.
  • Do #1 but click the Insert Image icon in the message menu bar and paste URL into the pop-up window that opens (the pic will show - and you can post higher resolution pics this way).
  • Use your smartphone or tablet to take the pic and then use the Tapatalk App to post the message and pic from your phone or tablet.

Hope that helps...

Don't get the humor...and didn't see the smiley you tried to insert with the IMG BB Code since it was a website and not an image file.
