Rolex GMT Legitimacy?

hey guy's, came across this piece on craigslist..

http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/jwl/2951055857.html

Guy doesn't seem to know too much, apparently he's had it since 97 he said.. But his reference number is off (I believe its a 16753) since it doesn't have the nipple dial, and has an oyster bracelet opposed to jubilee?

I know my modern Rolex's quite well, but with vintage I am somewhat left in the dark. Any insight on this piece and whether or not you think it's a decent deal at 3k to 3500?

he's willing to meet at a legit jeweler to get it checked, and said it was service in 2010... Seems good to me and honest that he is willing to go through these lengths

Thanks guy's

Martin

I thought it was only the root beer than had the jubilee?

I wouldn't want to deal with that guy based on the tome of his post, but that's just me.

True.

But for a quick/ cash hassle free deal in my favor? Doesn't seem like too much issue, hrm.

He said it is a 1675 which came in two-tone, but not with that dial. Sounds like a good listing to avoid.
