Odd Tudor Sub Dial

I saw this very odd, custom mason inspired dial. Though it's certainly not a watch dial I'd want to see on my Tudor Sub watch, someone apparently is bidding on it.

I'm just curious what others think of this dial:

Just a one-off dial ....

...... that will probably get binned. The other bits seem ok to me (?) and would have some real value to a Tudor collector.

The PCG case is very desirable and 390 movements are difficult to source. I'm not sure about the gilt hands or the bezel and insert though - aftermarket perhaps ?.

Still - the PCG case and movement are a bargain at the current bid (US $1450).

Awful. Looks like the symmetry is off-- very sloppy IMHO.

3500 is crazy. a 7928 case should sell for a grand and a movement is worth around 400 in unknown shape. someone got hosed for it... unless it was their mason (?) club that was on the dial.

The PCG bit makes all the difference ...

A nice PCG 7928 with all the original bits (including all gilt dial, gilt hands and 7206 bracelet) can fetch about $10k.
Keen Tudor folk .... like me ... rate them right up there with a Rolex equivalent.

I'm picking that the new owner already has a gilt dial or will patiently wait for one to come up.
Either way, the auction provides them with the bones for a very desirable watch.

I'm still puzzled by the hands, bezel and insert. Did you guys think they are legit ?
If they are, $3,500 is a bargain

Here's a nice one ....

Not my watch but here's a file pic of a nice, correct 7928 PCG.

Ticks all the boxes for me any day
