Do new jubilee bands stretch?

Do the current Jubilee bands on modern Rolex Models stretch over time like the Vintage ones? I believe the the steel has changed from 316L to 904L but I am no expert when it comes to metals. Also, I think the links in the past were hollow compared to solid now. Does this make any difference in preventing or lessening "stretch" ?

Thanks,

Mike G.

The type of SS will make no difference whether 904L or 316L, fact 316L is slightly harder. In reality the metal does not stretch what happens the dirt and sweat from every day.Now this everyday grim gets around the bracelet link pin holes and it acts like a abrasive and elongates the holes.Keep them clean with regular washing and normal routine service they will last for many many years.

solid so less gunk to get in between the links to cause the stretch

wear it tight and clean every few months and it'll last 50 years after you and i are six feet under

What he said.

Whether the new version will fair better than the older over time, they haven't been around long enough to know for sure. However in the meantime I plan on and have been keeping my Super Jubilee bracelet clean and cleaning it on a regular basis.

Agree with all the above, [relatively] snug fit and regular cleaning regimen will insure a lifetime of use.

I personally prefer a looser fit on my jubilee DJ, but am well aware of he wear issue and ensure that the bracelet gets at least as many baths as me!
