BUYERS BEWARE of William T. Leffew "timebandit66" or "Billybob" on TZ & Watchnet

BUYERS BEWARE of WILLIAM T. LEFFEW of Avon, INDIANA.

First off I was close to being a victim of a scam by William T. Leffew. The deal was luckily cancelled because of a serious negative post from one of his past deals with a gentleman here on watchnet as well. The problem I wasn't able to send the wire is because he never provided me complete wire details in the first place...kinda glad he didn't otherwise I may have been scammed for $5150 on his sale. B/c he didn't provide his address that was tied to the bank account, how was I able to send the wire? I called about 4-5 times that evening along with 4-5 emails just to get that info but he never responded to any. So afterwards he got back to me with an address that wasn't even tied to his name which got me a little worrisome.

I decided to do a little search on him online and it came to this thread about someone's experience with him online. Apparently, his previous sale the buyer had to get the Avon, IN deputy police involved in the transaction. Thereafter, he immediately sent it otherwise he would have been charged. The buyer wasn't able to charge him only b/c he sent the watch after a month and after the deputy paid him a visit. For claiming that I am a liar is just absurd. I feel I have 100% complete rights to walk away from any deal that I do not feel comfortable with especially from someone who has had a bad history of sour transactions. One thing that is even more absurd is that he told me he had meant to have that negative posting about him removed a long time ago. But excuse me, I think it is up to the moderators to decide on that. Plus, if anyone can just remove negative feedbacks, all the scammers out there will have a spotless history.

I can provide anyone with the entire story and the person who he dealt with before and his story. In addition, anyone who wants to get the Avon, IN deputy involved in this may do so. I can provide all that information to them. As a fellow forummer, I feel obligated to warn people of these scammers out there and my experience with Bill Leffew. Remember everyone, always buy the seller!!

Anyone can email me anytime regarding this: jon.c.yu@gmail.com.

I have many references all from very well known sellers and buyers online and my feedback has been 100% positive so far. Excuse me, but I think I have much more to protect than you. Anyone can do a search on google for my ID and name, then decide for yourself on who's who in this story.

Be safe everyone!

Best,
Jon Yu

This is the fact. I did have a run in with another member from another site. This was disclosed to this jerk and he still agreed to buy the watch. He claims he was a victim when the transaction was stopped before I sent the watch. I took pictures of me with the watch with a date card as he requested, and on the Friday I was going to overnight the watch he decided to bow out. The problem is this he agreed to buy the watch after I disclosed the problem he knew I had other buyers which I turned down I even agreed to send the watch before he paid me. You tell me who the victim is. I am telling you that he is in fact a liar and would have taken my watch without paying I guarantee it.

We do not need any further discussion of this matter.
