Building The Ultimate Watch Collection
This is an interesting article I've referred to in the past and something I use as a reference to keep a variety of watches on hand. I still have a long way to go and will probably never get there as I go down the list. I don't necessarily agree with the price points affixed to each type of watch to fulfill the requirement, but who can say that they have checked off every type of watch on this list or has come close. Would love to see pics.

All you really need is a beater for the gym and real dirty work or off the grid travel (G SHOCK), an everyday steel beater (Rolex, omega, AP, etc), and a dress watch. Combine haute horology, chrono, precious metal, etc. and you can do it in one dress watch.

I think the article has some relevance. Not in price point, but rather in creating a well rounded collection.
