Girard Perregaux Pocket Watch Value?

I know a guy who's looking to sell this watch that he inherited from his grandfather. Problem is he has no idea of its actual value.

It's a double-dial Girard Perregaux with a full calendar (possibly annual calendar?) and moonphase.

But not sure if that's the same watch, or if that price range is still valid. He seems to think it's worth more.

Anyone know anything that could shed some light?

It failed to reach its $10k reserve so the market disagrees with your buddy's opinion of value.

Yeah, looks like the same watch to me, too. Sucks for him. He actually turned down a $15k offer, too. Oops!
