I really think this brand makes some great looking pieces. I'd like to know more about the quality of the movements...

Is this a good or a bad thing?

Not good. That dial is a mess. First off, not a fan of skeletonized watches -- a display back is all that's really needed to show off the movement. A display back is like a good Joe Dirt mullet, business in the front and party in the rear. This watch is like a mess of a dreadlock moptop, if we're to use the hair metaphor to a bit of a silly extreme.

Second, and this goes along with the first, a watch has to serve a single function -- tell the time accurately. But part of that single function is readability, and this watch would have next to zero. I want to glance at my wrist, not stare for a few seconds trying to deduce the simple information my watch should easily convey. Awesomely blued hands on a white face = beauty. Blued hands with this skeleton behind them = WTF is that watch saying? I mean, I'd worry about triggering an LSD flashback or an epileptic seizure with this thing.

I'm a fan of GO, but this watch is one where I have to say I'm againnit.

I do understand your point about the dial being hard to read but I can't say the watch has a single purpose. Of course the main reason to buy one is to tell the time but in that case (and the case of a lot of brands for that matter) you also buy it for the beauty and the wonderful complications of a movement. This watch may not be the most useful (because of the fact that one cannot read it as easily) but I think the dial looks quite amazing.

Perhaps we should rather say that it is a wonderful piece for a collector provided that he has more simple watches for everyday use.
