My first Rolex - 'Thunderbird' Pics.

Well - its been a long time comming but I got my first Rolex purchase back from my AD this afternoon. ( after valuation and movement check etc.)
Its a 2002 Thunderbird 18kt Gold bezel, crown and hands & 18kt/SS Oyster braclet. This particular model was classed as a 'Limited Edition' as it was issued with a Factory MOP dial with Diamond Markers. Paperwork to boot also.

I must also thank Larry & Al for their help in helping me, resource the watch and seller in the U.S.

The AD even gave me the Green Embossed Wallet as a gift - just for evaluation (and to temp me back to him!)

Love the dial! I also like the gold around the date window.... that's not something you see very often!

I'm not normally one for diamonds on watches but yours turns that thought on it's head! This is beautiful, the most tasteful jeweled watch I have ever seen. I love the texture of the mother of pear as well. Congrats on such a lovely piece, wear it in good health!

Congratulations Stu, the watch looks absolutely gorgeous in those photos, way better than in the original pix.

Tell me you're not a happy guy right now!

P.S. Love your new avatar.

WOW! Very unique. The gold around the date really sets the watch off well.

That looks GREAT.

Love the MOP dial on that, as well as the TB bezel, very distinctive look.

Wear it in good health.

I understand that this bezel has been discontinued and the fluted bezel is the only tog model now..What a mistake! This style bezel is far superior in looks..A truly beautiful watch. Can you imagine this variation in everose?

Yeah - Everrose would be superb !!
I love the sporty Thunderbird bezel - it makes the DJ look Sporty rather than Dressy, which is the look I feel the fluted bezel gives.
