SUB question

Is there a sub nodate certified chronometer available.

Yes! It was released this summer.

It has the same movt. as the Sub OP ND, the only difference being that it is COSC rated. IMHO, COSC rating is more marketing hype that any reliable indicator of the precision of a watch. In fact, the Sub OP ND is said to be VERY precise, WELL within COSC specs.

In a way, it is a revival of the Sub Ref. 5512.

The new COSC rated Sub ND has the CRB (Chapter Ring Branding), btw. Note also that Rolex has kept the HOLES case and the NON SEL's. It is IMHO a very nice thing that Rolex still not updated the case and SEL's!

Yes both old and new ones, but at the moment most of them are not.

Don't know about a Daytona/LV comparison, but some have speculated it might be a rather short run should Rolex move with updates to the Sub line.

I don't remember anyone saying that a COSC Sub ND has been seen in the US yet.
