Why is it referred to as the DSSD when the name is Sea-Dweller Deep Sea or SDDS?

Deepsea is listed first on the dial and Sea-Dweller second hence DSSD.

But when It was released Rolex referred to it as the Sea Dweller Deep Sea.

Rolex.com lists the watch as the Rolex Deepsea. At this point I think DS should be sufficient but it's pretty well recognized as DSSD.

It is what it is and doesn't detract from the watch.

There really isn't a right or wrong.....

I use the DSSD designation, because for me, it's a 'Deep Sea' first and foremost, and 'Sea Dweller' last.
Although originating from the SD, it stands firm in it's own right!!

Just my thought, and don't really care which way one abbreviates it.

No matter which way its referred to, I believe it to be the most bada$$ watch out there.
