1960 Rolex -DATE- Vintage

Hey All -

Here's a look at my grandfather's Rolex which I recently inherited. Unfortunately, it doesn't work and could probably use a refurbishing. Any idea of the cost of a complete overhaul by RSC as opposed to an independent jeweler (who specializes in Rolex of course)? It needs a complete polish, new crystal, replacement of corroded second hand, and miscellaneous items maybe.

Any idea of its value in working condition? And NO, I do not plan on selling it LOL for those who may be thinking that. I'll wear it proudly!

Thanks for any help!

Nick

It's nice looking watch. Send it to Rik at Time Care Inc, he'll get you sorted out.

Nice old timer the date is not the best sellers value in good condition fully working around £1200-£1500.As for a service with hands budget for around £250- £300 plus ant movement parts if needed the acrylic crystals are always changed as part of service.
