On vacation and need help
I'm on vacation in Cape May, NJ and there is an estate jewelry shop I always love to check out when we're here. They have 3 Tudor submariners I was checking out. I thought it might be nice to own a Tudor in my collection but I know nothing about them. They are older models for sure but look to be in great condition. I need a little guidance in what to look for in a Tudor sub, are there any serials that are more desirable than others? What is the price range I should be willing to pay? I think they want $1500ish for 2 of the 3 and one looks older with either a patina dial or maybe tritium? Anyway, you're help would be appreciated. Thanks all!

Maybe make an offer on all 3 to get your cost basis down. Then go home and you'll have time to sort out the keeper. Then sell the other 2 for their asking price and call it even?
I just don't think there's enough time to get remotely schooled enough here without seeing photo's and serial numbers. That may be difficult while you're on vacation. Or do some internet research on the various Tudor threads on TRF, TZ and other forums.

Ok, thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna go look at them again tomorrow after looking up some more info on them. I do know that unfortunately none of them are snowflake dials.

I definitely will take some pics and share with you all. Taking the kids to Wildwood for the day so it may not be until tomorrow that I get back to the shop.
