Opinions on this vintage Datejust 6305
I was hoping to get some input on this vintage 6305 Datejust:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/U537-Vintage-...item564b200230 It's rough, and needs some TLC, but it's what I've been looking for. Do you think the watch overall is a good candidate for a vintage restoration? |

Nice looking watch. It's all a matter of what you get it for IMHO. The lugs don't look OVERLY polished. Although they have seen some polishing (Most likely a few door handles as well)*Update:* Just looked again, almost looks like I can see chamfered edges-or is it my screen?. The pictures look a little foggy but movement looks Ok.
The movement looks like A296 ? I'm not sure about availability of parts for these, perhaps a watchmaker or expert will chime in.

I know we're not suppose to discuss prices here, but I was hoping to get a rough idea of the FMV for these 6305's. Completed auctions on ebay have not been helpful. |
