Automatic watch winder for a PAM270

I just purchased an automatic watch winder from brookstone (i did get a 2yr warranty for 15 bucks) and was wondering if there was any special way to set it? Bi-directional, clockwise, etc. i do not want to damage the watch.

With a 10 day PR I don't think Id need a winder!

Either way congrats! Orbita makes nice winders and the 270 is a great watch.

What made you pick the 270 over the 233?

Just picked it up in a trade for a Panerai 347 plus 1K in cash, wasnt really looking for that exact model, truth be told the domed crystal kind of makes the face look smaller, i miss my 347.

WOW
Sorry you do not love it.
I love the domed crystal on that case!
I had a 233 I traded and now realize the error in my ways.

I am debating a 233 or 270. Kinda leaning towards a 233 with the dot AM/PM
indicator but if I fell into a 270 for a deal like you did I wouldn't be too upset.

yes PAM 270 is a great watch but you don't need a watch winder for a 10 day power reserve movement

thanks for all your help, after your input i will not use it for the PAM 270, and will use it for my IWC Big Pilot, and my Hublot Big Bang - the Big Bang seems like it has 12 hr power reserve :-)
