I quite agree that it's too much. That's almost double what I paid for the G.O. bracelet and it's tough to see how any bracelet could be worth much more than that.

Either way, that's why I'm going for models that are already fitted with one. Even at half price, it's still too darn expensive for me.

The funny thing is I too only wanted a bracelet model with brushed case/polished bezel. After wearing it a few times it felt really big and overwhelming with all the steel around it.
Since seeing some Panerai watch porn on this site, I added a rubber strap and I have not put the bracelet back on since!

IMO PAMs look best on a strap and just be carefull you don't fall into the same trap I did.

You may be better off getting a PAM on strap and putting the rest towards say a sub or something.

Good point. I definitely have to try it on first.

Still, its big savings to get the watch with a bracelet and just get aftermarket straps if I feel like swapping.
