My first Omega......
Got this earlier today..
speedmaster ref 145.022 69st It's got the rare caseback, and is now fitted on a brown vintage leather strap :-) Only downside is the newer service-hands.. But the old original hands was included and I just need to make the swap! Don't really know how rare these casebacks are.. does it increase the value of the watch significantly? Saw one on chrono24 at 4k USD... |

I also acquired an all-original vintage Speedy with dingy hands, which I swapped out for genuine Omega replacements. Now the watch looks sharp, as does yours. I wouldn't replace the hands unless you really like the dingy look. Just keep them in a safe place.

Nice caseback you have there. I recently acquired a all original 1974 omega, same as yours. I bought mine from a collector who told me to put it in the bank vault for 15 years and forget about it so that I won't ad wear to it.
It's in the vault, thanks for reminding me that I have it... See pictures: http://www.evozine.com

I don't know about that case back but the watch looks amazing! Congratulations!
