Need some advice !!!

I bought a Cartier Chrono from an online seller last Sep '11. Received the watch and brought it down to the local Richmonte Service Center for evaluation and turn up fine and authentic. After a month, I did not like the chunk and decided to sell it to a local 2nd hand dealer. All was good and understand he resold it after. Got a call from the dealer yesterday claiming it was a fake when it was brought down to the same service center for evaluation !!!

As it has been close to a year now, I don't think am able to find the acknowledgement slip but will drop by the service center on Monday to sort it out.

This is a bloody mess... Can you guys advice ? or if anyone have similar encounters ?

Even if you don't have the acknowledgement slip, the service center should have it on their records that you brought it in, and it was authenticated?

Yes, it was authentic else they would have flagged it and informed me back then. Would assume the service center would have went through their records first.

Sounds like a ridiculous claim. You'd think the service center would have logged the watch's serial # on their computer system from your prior visit. And how do they know it was you who swapped out parts & not the next owner? Good luck getting it sorted out. Not sure how it works in Singapore, but here in the US the dealer would be out of luck.

You have sold to the second hand dealer previously, and i am sure he checked the authenticity of the piece then( he did what you have done.) my guess is that the second hand dealer or the new owner are playing games.

I think you have already received the money for your watch, so how does this new issue concern you now ?
