Another Sd & 14060 crystal question

Sorry guys, this is a follow up to my other post, asking if theoretically, a crystal from an SD would fit a 14060 sub. The concensus seemed to be "No' but after researching a bit, I'm finding the SD and 14060 ND sub share the same diameter crystal (29.40mm?) as I'm finding the date Sub has a slightly larger crystal? Sorry for my persistence, I'm not at all questioning the many well-versed experts here on TRF, Just curious if someone could confirm this? John

Bo, I saw the numbers but they don't tell the dimensions in mm. You had the SD- what was the crystals diameter, and was it smaller than the sub date? (I realize it's thicker) Thanks, John

I would say that you don't need diametres since spare part numbers are spare parts numbers, and the SD and 14060 use two DIFFERENT spare part crystals!

But here are some diametres, all the same:

I was hoping that was because of the crystal thickness only- not the diameter. but that's why I'm the Noob! -john
