Anyone seen a M serial Explorer II?
Are they out yet? Or is the Z serial still in production?

Not sure about that. I just remember having seen a post about an M-serial Explorer II.
Who WAS that?!

I remember that, also. There was a picture of it posted as well, I believe.

Thanks for the replies. I wonder if I should insist on getting a M serial or not. From the postings here, the only difference I saw between a Z and a M is the CRB and the CC certificate... Does the serial number really matter if one day I decide to sell the watch?

Some collectors (MOST, actually) like Rolex the old-fashioned way.

My friend got a new one last week and he did not get the CRB. Did not have the heart to tell him that he should have got a better deal as it was not the current model.

Here's my Z
[IMG][/IMG] I'd much rather have the latest and greatest. I'm not really concerned with the investment value of the Exp II

I just got a phone call from the Ben Bridge sales rep I talked to the other day while looking for my Explorer II. He found one with a M serial and CRB. I told him I was going to go with another AD that was willing to discount. He sounded upset and said thank you and immediately hang up...
Hopefully the AD that I'll be buying from will have one with a M serial and CRB. I like the latest and greatest too but I don't know if it's going to be worth the $800 or so difference that I'll be getting by going to this AD in LA. |

Mike cool photo when you look at the position of the red hand over the twelve hour triangle marker it looks like the Star of David.
