YG blue sub question

Hi guys,
i found something and need your opinions
what is a fair price for a 1984 solid gold blue sub with original boxes (no papers) in pristine condition? the watch was worn occassionally through these 23 years and was also serviced every 5 years. Looks beautiful to me...
The guy is somebody that I know and he is the only owner. So?

If you trust him, and it's authentic, go for it.... I would

Dont have pics yes, all service papers included. And yes i do trust him I just don't know what my maximum offer should be. Before completing the transaction I will also verify authenticity at the local Rolex service center. They authenticate Rolexes for free here in Greece...

You know the seller, and you like the watch. If the price is right (I'd say 3 K'ish), then

3000.00 for a solid 18k Sub Blue face?
I think you're a little low.
