help with Rolex 1680

My bezel was turning too loose so I removed it and replaced the tension spring. However, I can't get the bezel to work correctly. It's still too loose no matter how I bend the spring. Any ideas or something I can try. NYC ARD won'[t touch my "vintage" 1680.

Thank You,
Richard W

The bezel and or the retaining ring for the crystal is just worn out and needs to be replaced or you'll bump it and the bezel will fall off. Rikki
