9300 everytime as it has the new in-house movement and dial format.
Alternatives would be one of the limited edition Speedmasters, but I'd never consider the normal Speedmaster over the 9300 version. |

The 9300 is beautiful and has a great movement, but I have to vote to stick with the original for the Speedy. I recently got a 3570.50 and I love it, everything about it is great.
Go with the 3573.50, you won't regret it.

I tried on a 9300 today. I have the opposite view to others.
I thought it wore small for a 44mm watch. Definitely smaller than my Panerai zero. It felt comfortable and not bulky at all. I should say I was wearing a PO 8500 when I went to the AD and compared to that it felt light and thinner. It felt a bit bigger than a speedy pro, but not by that much. |

There is only one Speedmaster and it is the Professional.
Take it from someone who has owned at least forty Speedies over the years. Fr. John† |

My vote goes to the Sapphire Sandwich. My best friend bought one and I picked up a 3559.32.00 and the 42mm feels just perfect. I thought I wasn't going to like it because I came from a Seiko Ananta Chrono (46mm) but IMO the size is perfect and the look of the Sapphire Sandwich is timeless. I might pick one up soon actually.
