9300 everytime as it has the new in-house movement and dial format.

Alternatives would be one of the limited edition Speedmasters, but I'd never consider the normal Speedmaster over the 9300 version.

The 9300 is beautiful and has a great movement, but I have to vote to stick with the original for the Speedy. I recently got a 3570.50 and I love it, everything about it is great.

Go with the 3573.50, you won't regret it.

I tried on a 9300 today. I have the opposite view to others.

I thought it wore small for a 44mm watch. Definitely smaller than my Panerai zero. It felt comfortable and not bulky at all. I should say I was wearing a PO 8500 when I went to the AD and compared to that it felt light and thinner.

It felt a bit bigger than a speedy pro, but not by that much.

There is only one Speedmaster and it is the Professional.

Take it from someone who has owned at least forty Speedies over the years.

My vote goes to the Sapphire Sandwich. My best friend bought one and I picked up a 3559.32.00 and the 42mm feels just perfect. I thought I wasn't going to like it because I came from a Seiko Ananta Chrono (46mm) but IMO the size is perfect and the look of the Sapphire Sandwich is timeless. I might pick one up soon actually.
