Explorer II - F series/16570 questions???

Hi Everyone, I'm looking at a pre-owned WF Explorer II, F series, mdl. 16570, made in 2003. I have a question about the numbers on the band. I see numbers on the clasp (78790A), but not on the end links. On my Explorer I, from 1999, I have numbers on both end links and clasp. Is it correct not to have numbers on the end links of this Exp II? Please advise. Thank you!!

I have an F series 16570. Didn't take the band off, but didn't see any numbers on the end links either on mine.

Hollow end links are a different story.
