From the gym socks side of the drawer
Hi All:
Here is a DRSD (finally got the acronym right!) for Labor Day as I lounge around on the internet avoiding a backlog of work that will eventually have to be dealt with. Sunny and clear outside what am I doing here? I hope everyone is having a good day (oops--for those in the US who have a holiday and for those not in the US who might have to be at work). Cheers. If that watch could talk I'm sure she has a lot of interesting stories to tell. Great Picture.

That's it... I am coming for your drawer!
So far, you have pulled out some nice APs, very rare Panerai and now this? Ridiculous

Wish I found that in my sock drawer. Only thing in mine is an Omega Speedmaster. Although a Speedy isn't a bad drawer find anyway

Thanks, everybody for the kind comments.
Leon: Watch pictures used to be so hard to take due to the flash and reflections on the crystal. People used to make fabric boxes with a hole for the lens, but now I just use my iPad. Chris: My sock watches were not especially rare or even sought after a few (several--time flies) years ago, but something happened. It makes me wonder what watches today are under-appreciated. Joe: A Speedy is great to find in your sock drawer. I am starting to look at Omegas ("look" is literal--my interest in watches is superficial and based on appearance) because of their great history. Holiday is over and it's back to work. RC |
