Rolex strap prices?

I've been thinking about putting my Datejust on a leather strap for sometime now, and I was hoping I could get some info on what Rolex charges for their leather, croc, or alligator straps, and also what the steel tang type buckles cost.

I got a Rolex made black Java lizard strap for my yg datejust from the San Francisco RSC 2 yrs. ago, I think it was US $200.
It's a trad tang & buckle strap.

Thank you for this info. Dr. Robert and that strap looks fantastic on your watch. Great combo.

I recently put a Ted Su black croc on my steel DJII/white stick and I have received compliments from AD staff in Stockholm and Helsinki just last week. Also have a Ted Su cordovan strap on my DSSD and have received compliments on it as well.

A brown croc strap would look great with the YG DJ.

Doesn't have to be necessarily a Rolex strap, got this Italian one with Rolex Buckle and it suite YG watches.

Not sure I'd spring for the strap with Rolex embossed on the reverse. I just bought a $40 buckle with a Rolex crown on it (may or may not be genuine but I don't really care). I connected this to a croc band from Otto Frei. Looks great, and at the price I paid I won't be afraid to wear it and sweat on it. The buckle will go on the next strap when the current one gets too funky.

Thank you DCgator, Kiwinz, Time Exposure, and Johny for your input on this. Maybe I should consider investing in a Rolex buckle, and buy a Hirsch strap. Those are my favorite straps.

I've got a 16013 with a champagne dial and indice hour markers, so I was thinking a shiny grained strap, either croc, or alligator. But a lizard strap would look good, I think. Any suggestions for other colours?

The straps themselves are disposable, but it probably is worth getting a good buckle.

Just so do we. Buys bracelet in one place, and buckle on another. Imagine how much Rolex would charge for, all "Original"?? well done

I contacted Rolex Canada, and found out that the full steel, and plaque d'or (gold plated) buckles are each $75 CDN. Only issue is they are 16mm, so I'll have to find a good 16mm tapered strap. The 18mm buckles only come in solid 18k gold.
