Yes, red COSC and green ( swim proof or submariner) tag. I've seen both

The green tag has the coronet sticking out from the top and reads SUBMARINER on the backside. The reg hang tag has an embossed crown on one side. The hologram red tag came out during the very late 1980's to 1990. As far as SWIMPRUF green hang tag being correct for a vintage 1680 - I'd say since the Submariner had it's own hang tag, why would it come with a SWIMPRUF hang tag?

Thanks for the info. I just looked around on eBay. Not sure which tags were correct that's why I asked.

I noticed two sub tags you posted. Which one is correct for my 1976-1977?

You lost me. If you're directing your question to me regarding my photos, both Submariner tags are the same - therefore they are both correct!!!!!!!

The tag came with a white or green paper insert with your serial number from the watch. Dealer prices or store codes for the watch could often be found on the backside of the tag.

It was. Sorry about that. The second tag " submariner" looked lower on the tag to me. Thanks for the info

The reason I asked about the swim pruf because there are several listed on eBay with the crown coming from the top with " swinpruf" at the bottom. Maybe they are newer tags?

All the older tags look like the ones in my photo to include the swimpruf tag.

These older hang tags were replaced by a rectangular green hang tag and the crown did not extend from the top of the hang tag.
