Vintage Ladies Padlock Rolex Precision
Hi guys (and a few ladies).
I have been a lurker on here a while but this is my first post. Let me start with a little bit about myself. I am more into the vintage watches having started with Omega Seamasters and Omegas in general and slowly broadening my interests. I have picked up a couple vintage Rolex's along the way though none as nice as some of you have. Over the last 5 or 6 years I have bought/sold/traded a lot of watches as I constantly try to improve my overall collection as I think most of us do. One watch in particular I bought a few years back from a local estate has I believe made its way into the permanent archives of my collection. It is a 18k ladies Rolex Precision in a padlock form. I was just curious as to what you guys think about it. Any info I have tried to find has been pretty thin. All I have been able to piece together is that these charm/pendant watches were made in a couple forms in the late 1950's? I would like any info anybody out there may know on them. I am not really worried as to value as the main source of info I have been able to find was auction records....mainly from Europe. Thanks a bunch in advance. I look forward to getting to know you guys better. Shawn |

A very unusual piece have not seen one before but today its main value would be in the precious metal plus a bit for the name on dial and novelty factor most properly a manual wind 17j movement.
