In the market for my first Rolex

Thinking about a Sub or the Exp II in polar white.

What, if any, discount would I likely be able to negotiate at a local AD? I'm in SC if that helps any.

Welcome! I have a SS sub and plan on never parting with it. The Explorer II is a beautiful watch and it's really been growing on me lately. Either would be a great addition in my opinion. In my experience AD's are harder to get to discount on SS models, some won't budge, but I have heard of up to 15% on SS subs. If you go for a TT sub or solid gold sub I would expect more of a discount. Also, look around the For Sale forum here, we have some great sellers around here. Good luck! When you get complete your purchase please share some pics, we love to see them.

You may have difficulty finding the Polar Expl.II nearby, but the Sub should be no issue. On negotiating at the AD, study up on the most recent serial number series (before random). If the one you find is over a year on the shelf, they may have a desire to discount it more.

Good luck on your quest.
